When Slag, lead vocalist of Birmingham Prog Metallers H.O.S.T.I.L.E, became increasingly disillusioned and frustrated with both his day job and the hideous state of the unsigned music scene, he squatted, heaved and gave birth to the brutal, uncompromising sounds of Infractor.
Slags Vision was to create intense, hard-hitting music without disregarding the need for melody all-together. With a determination to avoid the interchangeable nature of the riffs of similar bands, Infractor was the result.
Although on record Infractor consists of one individual, a highly talented and professional line-up bring the music to life on the stage! These include members and ex-members of H.O.S.T.I.L.E, Benediction, Vincent Drive and The Graham Parsnip Liquidiser Torture Think-Tank (Project).
As Infractor progresses Slag intends to involve the live ensemble more in areas of the recording and writing process.
